I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 17th annual Challenge for Life – because I can!
Being a participant means I am committed to improve my overall health and reduce my own risk of cancer. I have also committed to raise at least $250 in the fight against cancer to help support cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education at CancerCare Manitoba for all Manitobans with cancer.
CancerCare Manitoba is dedicated to excellence in care, providing the latest treatments available for those diagnosed and living with cancer and blood disorders and improving cancer outcomes for all Manitobans.
My journey with CancerCare Manitoba began in September 2017 when I met a remarkable team headed Dr. Paul Kerr whose care and skills resulted in a very positive outcome. I graduated from the post-op and follow-up monitoring in 2023 and hope to never see Dr. Kerr again - other than on a bike path perhaps. Filled with gratitude, I hope to reach my lofty goal of $5000 in 2024. It is a very worthwhile cause!
Join me in the Challenge or support me with a donation! Together, we can change the course of cancer in Manitoba.
