I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 17th annual Challenge for Life – because I can!
Cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) has been a part of my life for two and a half years now. It means so much to me to be here, to feel well, and to be able to walk the 20km. I can proudly say that I am LIVING with stage iv cancer despite all odds.
This year my good friends Megan, Michelle and I have decided to walk and raise funds together as a team, just as we travel through our cancer journeys together.
CancerCare Manitoba Foundation has been instrumental in raising the funds needed for research to take place right here in Manitoba. The three of us have access to treatments for both breast and bile duct cancer because of that important research- for that we are grateful and would like to do our part to give back to Manitobans.
Join our team, Duct, Duct, Boob, in the Challenge! Together, we can change the course of cancer in Manitoba!
