Welcome to Team Jason's Journey!

We are taking the Challenge - CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 17th annual Challenge for Life - because we can!

Our team, Team Jason's Journey, has been participating in this event since 2021.  Together, we have raised nearly $37,000 towards life-saving cancer research and treatment provided by CancerCare Manitoba to patients here in our province, and have walked nearly 260 kilometres in the process.

Our team captain, Jason Gisser, has been participating in this event since 2019, and is a cancer fighter, having lived with a chronic cancer diagnosis for 21 years.  Jason is incredibly grateful for the wonderful care and support which he's received through CancerCare Manitoba over the years.

Being participants in the Challenge for Life means that we are committed to raise at least $250 each in the fight against cancer, to help support cancer prevention, detection, treatment, research and education at CancerCare Manitoba.  We are also committed to walk/cycle/swim/run 20 kilometres or participate in 200 minutes of exercise.  

We would love for you to join our team and/or support us with a donation!  We also invite you to cheer on our team on June 1, as we participate in the Challenge for Life's 20 kilometre walk beginning and ending at Assiniboine Park, and starting at 9 AM (Opening Ceremonies at 8:30 AM).
