I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 17th annual Challenge for Life – because I can, and because my family (like so many others) have been touched by cancer. I lost my Uncle Warren to prostate cancer this November, and my grandmother Rosalyn to breast cancer in 2017.
Being a participant means I am committed to improve my overall health and reduce my own risk of cancer. I have also committed to raise at least $250 in the fight against cancer to help support cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education at CancerCare Manitoba for all Manitobans with cancer.
CancerCare Manitoba is dedicated to excellence in care, providing the latest treatments available for those diagnosed and living with cancer and blood disorders and improving cancer outcomes for all Manitobans.
Join me in the Challenge or support me with a donation! Together, we can change the course of cancer in Manitoba.
