I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 17th annual Challenge for Life – because I can! 

I lost my father to metastatic cancer in 2007. He was spry, youthful, and totally not finished living his fabulous life. He missed seeing his daughter graduate with her PhD, meeting more of his grandchildren, and so much more. He did thrive for many years prior due to amazing treatments made possible through CancerCare. 

One of my dearest loves is facing chemotherapy next month. Everyone is either facing this themselves or knows someone who is, or has lost someone…we are in this together.
