I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 17th annual Challenge for Life – because I can! 

Being a participant means I am committed to improve my overall health and reduce my own risk of cancer. I have also committed to raise at least $250 in the fight against cancer to help support cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education at CancerCare Manitoba for all Manitobans with cancer.

Cancer has impacted my family directly, when my father lost his 4 year battle at the age of 52, it has also been the cause of so many loved ones passing way too early. 2 in 5 Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime and 1 in 4 are expected to die of the disease.

CancerCare Manitoba is dedicated to excellence in care, providing the latest treatments available for those diagnosed and living with cancer and blood disorders and improving cancer outcomes for all Manitobans.
