I am participating in the 2024 Challenge For Life as a proud member of The Walker and The Talker team which is co captained by Doug Harvey and Jan Schute along with a strong team behind them led by Jordan Harvey, myself and some of our closest friends.

The Harvey family has been a second family to me since Jordy and i became best buds back in high school. Doug (Diesel) has always been one of my biggest supporters and role models. As many of you know and for those who may not, Diesel has been on his cancer journey for over 9 years now and recently began the most challenging part of his journey to date. On March 25th, Doug underwent his first of 10 rounds of chemotherapy which will span over 30 weeks in total. It's been a difficult first month of treatment for Doug and Jan but they've handled it with courage, bravery, optimism and a "never give up" attitude. Of course with Doug, there's been a fair amount of humor mixed in there as well.

This will be my 2nd time participating in The Challenge For Life and as  I'll be walking 20k on June 1st alongside Jordan Harvey and some of our closest friends for not only Diesel but all those who are on a cancer journey, all those we've lost to cancer and the millions of people who have had their lives impacted by cancer in one way or another.
