On June 1st for my 17th year I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's Challenge for Life – because I can!
I began participating in the Challenge for Life in 2008 when my mom was diagnosed with Multiply Myeloma. Over the years many more friends and family have received a Cancer diagnosis so I am going to once again lace up my runners and walk to raise money for Cancercare Manitoba.
The walk is taking place on June 1/24 in Assiniboine Park and through the streets of Winnipeg.
Being a participant means I am committed to improve my overall health and reduce my own risk of cancer. I have also committed to raise at least $250 in the fight against cancer to help support cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education at CancerCare Manitoba for all Manitobans with cancer.
CancerCare Manitoba is dedicated to excellence in care, providing the latest treatments available for those diagnosed and living with cancer and blood disorders and improving cancer outcomes for all Manitobans.
It would be greatly appreciated if you would share this incredible journey with me by supporting my fundraising efforts and making a donation to CancerCare Manitoba.
Together, we can change the course of cancer in Manitoba.
Thank you for your support.
