We are participating in Ride Inside in honour of our son, Javi, who is currently receiving treatment for Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

On April 27th, 2024, we received the life changing news that Javi, at only 2 years old, was diagnosed with cancer.

Over the last 6 months, we've spent hundreds of hours with Javi's care team at CancerCare Manitoba. We've seen first hand how their world class research leads to better results for kids like Javi. 

The day after Ride Inside, November 22nd, will be Javi's 3rd birthday. We never expected to be here but if it weren't for the research done by CancerCare and their partnering hospitals, it's hard to imagine the alternative. We will be forever grateful for their work and giving Javi the chance to have decades of birthdays to come.
