I am participating in "Ride Inside" in support of Manitoba kids with cancer.
Nearly 1 in 2 Canadians are expected to be diagnosed with cancer, and hear the words “you have cancer” at some point during their lives. Approximately 60 kids in Manitoba will be diagnosed with cancer each year.
We all know someone whose life has been changed by this disease.
In addition to raising money to fund promising research and to provide vital support services for patients and their families, one special reason I participate in the Relay for Life is in memory and honour of my incredible friend, Kaleena Hudon (Guarino), who passed away sixteen months after her second battle with melanoma at the age of 26. I support this cause in her name, and to show our community that no one has to face cancer alone.
By supporting me with a donation, you are helping to support CancerCare Manitoba in its work to change lives for all pediatric cancer patients in our province and give hope to these kids and their families.
Every donation - no matter the size - is critical as we work together to make a difference in the lives of Manitobans affected by cancer.
Thank you for your support!
