Each year, Manitobans from all walks of life compete in the Manitoba Dragon Boat Festival. The Dragon Boat festival is a three-day competition which brings community together to raise funds in support of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation
Propelled by 20 paddlers, guided by a steersperson and kept in rhythm by a drummer seated at the bow, these 1500 lb boats create waves in the water sport community. Racing against two to three other teams per heat, each race lasts only a few minutes. The impact you can make though will last a life time.
