Update 2: It was a triumph! I'm making a note here: huge success. Our online donations have surpassed $1,100 as of this writing, and the table brought in $962.50 all on its own! This amount is being matched by my family's business Jelcan Inc., so altogether our little fundraiser has raised just over three thousand dollars for CancerCare MB!

We didn't know what to expect, but it certainly was not this. It is beautiful to experience your community coming together for good. A huge thank you to everyone who donated and spread the word, as well as our corporate partner. Amazing!

Update 1: The table hasn't even opened yet and we've upped our goal three times! Y'all are amazing!! 

My name is Nathan Fehr and I'm participating in this year’s Lemonade Stands for Hope in support of CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, to create hope for Manitobans touched by cancer...and I need your support!

We'll be running a lemonade stand on Saturday, July 20th from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. The stand will be located at our home, 780 Townsend Drive in Winkler. (My daughter Cassidy decided the wonderfully whimsical theme for our table.) 

All the funds we raise by selling lemonade & baked goods will stay right here in our province to help provide the best research and leading-edge patient care! And, it'll support Manitobans and their families -- like us -- on their cancer journey.
