I am participating in the 2022 RIDE INSIDE in support of Manitoba kids with cancer.

This "party with a purpose" promises to be a lot of fun and at the same time will raise critical funds for CancerCare Manitoba.

Most of you will know that the Winnipeg Jets are my second favorite team, however, during the ride I am committed to wearing my Jets gear as we raise money with Blake Wheeler and family for this important cause.  

There have been dramatic improvement in treatments and outcomes for many pediatric and young adult cancers over the years. Thanks to the passionate investment of donors, today four out of five of these young patients will be cured.

However, 20 percent of patients whose cancers have spread, returned, or proven resistant to treatment still have a challenge to face. PROFYLE, short for PRecision Oncology For Young peopLE, is dedicated to helping find cures for the rarest and hardest to treat cancers young people are facing. This initiative gives children, adolescents and young adults who are out of conventional treatment options another chance to beat their cancer. By supporting me with a donation, you are helping to support CancerCare Manitoba in its work to change lives for all pediatric cancer patients in our province. 

Every donation - no matter how big or small - is critical as we work together to stay ahead of this disease.
