I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 16th annual Challenge for Life – because I can and I’m so grateful for the ability to! 

I am motivated and inspired to walk 20km for not only my mom but so many loved ones and their families. I think of those that battled and won and those we lost. 

Being a participant means I am committed to improve my overall health and reduce my own risk of cancer. I have been taking steps to do this and my health journey continues. 

It also means a lot that community members from Nunavut also receive care here in Manitoba from CancerCare. 

I have committed to raise at least $250 in the fight against cancer.  Our team goal is $10,000

I am proud that $ for $ goes to help support cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education at CancerCare Manitoba.
