I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 16th annual Challenge for Life – because I can! 

I lost my mom to cancer many years ago and I have missed sharing so many new life experiences with her. My husband Dave was touched by cancer, and fortunately he is now cancer free.  I am so grateful and blessed to have him in my life. Many of my friends have also successfully surpassed a cancer challenge and it is so wonderful to see them embrace life. 

Being a participant means I am committed to improve my overall health and reduce my own risk of cancer. I have also committed to raise at least $250 in the fight against cancer to help support cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education at CancerCare Manitoba for all Manitobans with cancer.

CancerCare Manitoba is dedicated to excellence in care, providing the latest treatments available for those diagnosed and living with cancer and blood disorders and improving cancer outcomes for all Manitobans.
