If you know me then you know that my prime motivation here is to support CancerCare Manitoba because that institution looked after my late wife Sharon for over fourteen years.  Staying involved with CCMB has taught me a lot about cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, research and education and it's happening here for Manitobans.

I did not need CCMB to remind me of how much cancer has surrounded me.  I always seem to know people in various stages of treatment and right now it includes two cousins.  In the last couple of years I lost my best friend Robie and my oldest friend Marla.

I'm not just repeating a CancerCare slogan when I say that together we can change the course of cancer in Manitoba.  I believe it.  So, if you are already supporting another entrant - good for you.  If you can support my effort - that would be great!
