I am taking the Challenge – CancerCare Manitoba Foundation's 15th annual Challenge for Life – in memory of our daughter Shannon Gray.  

Shannon was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma in 2016, the same year she graduated from the Bachelor of Nursing program at Red River College with a dream to become a pediatric nurse. 

Sadly, Shannon passed away before she could fulfill her dream. Shannon was a bright light and she lived her life with courage and exuberance while practicing gentleness and kindness with everyone she met. She believed that the right way to live your life is to dedicate it to helping others. 

Join me and hundreds of others across this great province navigate the course of cancer.
