I am taking the Challenge - CancerCare Manitoba's Challenge for Life –
Why? Because cancer has impacted so many people in my life, including my son. It's my way of doing something to help make a difference. Like last year, instead of the 20 km walk or the 200 minute workout.... I will cycle the 200 km hwy that Dustin and I took more than 45 times over the past two years.....Kenora to Winnipeg.
And this year....... i also ride in memory of our courageous little friend, Ryder, who lost his battle on January 17th.
By participating in the 13th annual “Made-in-Manitoba” event on Saturday, June 13, I am committed to taking steps to improve my overall health and reduce my own risk of cancer. I am also committed to raising funds to support CancerCare Manitoba and all those who cannot walk.
Join me in the Challenge – either by cycling with me or by supporting me with a donation. We'll do it together.... because we can!
CancerCare Manitoba is the provincially mandated cancer agency for all of Manitoba, responsible for cancer prevention, detection, treatment, research and education. CancerCare Manitoba is dedicated to excellence in cancer care, enhancing the quality of life of those diagnosed and living with cancer and blood disorders and improving cancer control for all Manitobans.
CancerCare Manitoba Foundation’s mission, in partnership with its donors, is to support CancerCare’s strategic priorities. Donor contributions help bridge the gap of initiatives and programs not eligible for government funding or where financial resources are not available. This support to CancerCare Manitoba profoundly impacts patient outcomes.
Please consider making a donation. I am honoured to have the opportunity to give back for all that CCMB has done for me and my son.
