I am taking the Challenge - CancerCare Manitoba's Challenge for Life – because I can!
As so many have, I have seen first hand the terrible outcomes this horrible disease can have. My mother, my father and my wife Nancy Groff all let us too early because of it. I am determined to do what little I can, to fight back!
By participating in this“Made-in-Manitoba” virtual event I am committed to taking steps to improve my overall health and reduce my own risk of cancer. I am also committed to try to raise $10,000.00 to support CancerCare Manitoba and all those in need.
Join me in the Challenge – by registering yourself and choosing your workout, or by supporting me with a donation. We'll do it together.... because we can!
The 2020 Challenge for Life is completely virtual, so a few riding buddies and I have designed our own challenge and have choosen to cycle the Duff Robin Parkway Trail (Red River Floodway). The out and back trip is about 82 km and with riding to the start of the route it will be over 100 km. We plan to do it on August 17. If you are interested in joining us feel free to sign up. By observing social distancing, we will have fun while changing the course of cancer in our province.
