Rope for a Cure
Barrie Tully passed away from cancer on March 27th, 2018. He felt that he had received such outstanding care from the CancerCare Manitoba team that he wanted to hold a fundraiser to give back. Medical and support personal had not only given Barrie every medical advantage but also continuous emotional support to both him and his wife, Lori.
Barrie was an avid team roper. He competed in many events across the prairie provinces and in some American states. He wanted to hold a team roping at the family farm with the proceeds donated to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Barrie’s family, close friends, neighbours and the extensive team roping community are honouring his vision by continuing with the roping.
The roping will be held at the family farm on June 2nd starting at 10:00 and ending with a pulled pork supper at 5:30. There is silent auction with numerous generously donated prizes. There will be a 50/50 raffle. A concession stand will be open through out the day. For more information on the roping please call 204 461-1456.
By supporting Barrie’s vision with a donation through this link, you are helping to support CancerCare Manitoba to support the lives of future cancer patients and their families, and change the course of cancer in our province.
Thank-you for your support.
