To all my friends, family and colleagues;
I am taking the Challenge at CancerCare Manitoba's 10th Anniversary of Challenge for Life – because I can!
As many of you know, George and I have a personal Cancer story. It is 5 years since George was diagnosed, treated and kicked Cancer in the butt. This will be my third Challenge Walk to support the organization that is near and dear to our hearts.
Through the supprt and efforts of CancerCare Manitoba along with amazing doctors, surgeons and Health Care Professionals, George is living life to the fullest these days.
CancerCare Manitoba is the provincially mandated cancer agency for all of Manitoba, charged with the responsibility for cancer prevention, detection, treatment, research and education. CancerCare Manitoba is dedicated to excellence in cancer care, to enhancing the quality of life for those diagnosed and living with cancer and blood disorders and to improving the control of cancer for all Manitobans.
By participating in this tenth-annual “Made-in-Manitoba” event, I have committed to help reduce my own risk of cancer by taking steps to improve my overall health. I am also committing to raise at least $5000 to support CancerCare Manitoba - and all those who cannot walk.
Thank you for your consideration and support. Please donate because you can help make a difference!
