TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Payday Pool Lottery is open via payroll deduction to paid CancerCare Manitoba employees who have earnings on a regular bi-weekly basis.
Membership extends indefinitely until terminated by either the employee or CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. Admission permitted at the discretion of CancerCare Manitoba and CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
If an employee terminates, they will no longer be eligible for future Payday Pool Lottery draws.
When unpaid absences occur (LOA, maternity leave, workers compensation, etc.) the employee will be ineligible during any month that payments are not made. The employee is responsible to ensure that their deduction continues after they have returned to work. As long as deductions are being made, the employee is eligible to win.
One draw for every pay period will be made by the Payday Pool Lottery Coordinator.
All winning names are re-entered into subsequent draws.
Prize monies are non-taxable. Payday Pool Lottery entry fee is not tax deductible and charitable donation receipts will not be issued.
One-half of the funds generated for each draw will be paid out to the winner within five (5) business days of draw. The other half of the pool supports CancerCare Manitoba's refreshment services. A free service for patients and their families during visits to CancerCare; volunteers provide over 100,000 beverages and 135,000 cookies each year!
