On Wednesday, April 4, 2018, hundreds of supporters united at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg for the ninth bi-annual A Gold-Plated Evening for men's cancer.

A cancer diagnosis is tremendously overwhelming for patients and their families. While significant advances have been made for the top three cancers affecting men - prostate, lung and colorectal CancerCare Manitoba is working incredibly hard to increase survival rates. The A Gold-Plated Evening committee is determined to make a difference. Since its inception, the event has raised more than $2.6 million to support advancements in prevention, early detection, research and patient care in support of all men’s cancers.

The need is great and CancerCare Manitoba is counting on us to be part of the solution. Your investment helped men and their families facing the disease now and also helps prevent cancer for future generations. Know that all funds raised through your support of this hallmark event stay right here in Manitoba.
